Saigon private · your founder team flies to us

Fly home with the software
your business runs on

Thao Dien, Saigon · three to five days · one founder or a team of six · engineers all day

What the team learns here

From a prototype
to a central database

A founder team usually arrives with a prototype that works on one laptop and a list of things it should do. Over three to five days the team moves it onto the stack, rebuilds it as a full stack application on the real data, and ends with one central database the company owns: reached only from the server, admin behind a login, every change through a reviewed pull request.

Two or three applications ship on it, and a managed agent runs on it before the flight home.

What a private retreat produces
The days

Arrival dinner
then build days

The three day arc. Four and five days add build time and a dedicated launch day.

Day one

Blueprint and roadmap

A private roadmap session: where leverage lives, what to ship first. The three layer company model and the agent org chart for your business. Concept selection, scope lock, success criteria. Engineer paired, the stack set up: Claude, GitHub, Vercel, Supabase.

Day two

Build day

Hands on with your engineer in the room. The site, the data model, the first workflow, the integrations. Goal: working software on real data by six o'clock, then the city.

Day three

Production and handoff

Polish, harden, deploy to production. A managed agent deployed with a schedule, permissions and logged runs. Four agents on the repository. Then the Polish: forty human tokens to take the builds further over the next thirty days.

What the team walks out with

Live on your data
before you leave

01

A live system on your data

Not a prototype in a chat window. A deployed application with a login, an admin and your real records, on your own domain, before the room closes.

02

A hardened codebase

Keys in environment variables, the database reached only from the server, every change through a reviewed pull request. The thing security asks for, built in from day one.

03

A managed agent in the cloud

An agent that runs on a schedule, reads the company database, acts within its permissions and logs every run. The kind a business can build on.

04

Four agents to keep building

Product manager, developer, QA and devops, configured on your repository, so the team ships the next feature on Monday without us.

The week

Work nine to six
then Saigon

Nine to six, every day, at a riverside table in Thao Dien with your engineer beside you. Then the city. Everything but the flights is arranged before you board.

Arrivals at Tan Son Nhat, Saigon

The arrival

Someone meets you at immigration with your name on a sign and walks you to the front. Vu is holding the car door outside. The apartment keys and the first coffee were arranged before you boarded.

The Saigon river at golden hour, Thao Dien

The place

Thao Dien is the green, walkable corner of the city. You stay at the AIO Pad, a high floor apartment with the river below, external monitors on the desks and the fastest internet in Saigon.

The working days

9am to 6pm. Plan on day one, build every day after, deploy to production on the last. Your engineer is dedicated to your team for the whole retreat, specialists join when a block needs them.

A Saigon street food cart at night

The evenings

At six the day ends and Saigon begins. Vu drives, Travel Buddy guides, the team knows where to eat. Some nights you sit by the river and do not want to move. That is also the right answer.

The people

Quan hosts the retreat from arrival to handoff. Edge8 engineers build with you all day. Dave joins for direction when you want a second altitude. The same Saigon team handles the polish after you fly home.

The last day

Push to production, smoke test live, write the thirty day plan. A final dinner, the river going gold, and a way of working that does not switch off when you land.

FAQ

The questions
the buyer asks

What does it cost+

$7,000 for a 3-day retreat for the first person. That includes the pre-retreat consultation, project setup with four agents configured on your repository, and 40 human tokens of post-retreat polish. Each extra day is $1,000. Each additional person is $1,000 per day, which covers their VIP immigration, airport pickup, room at the AIO Pad, daily lunch, private car and driver, and Travel Buddy app.

I've done a retreat before, do I pay for the setup again+

No. Project setup is included by default because first-time builders need the stack and the four agents in place before day one. If yours are already set up from a previous retreat, tick the returning builder option when you reserve and we credit you for it.

Can I really walk out with working software in 3 to 5 days+

Yes, with the right scope. The pre-retreat consultation and day-one roadmap lock the build to what ships in the time you have. Your engineer is dedicated to you for the full duration, and the stack and the agents are set up before you land to remove every blocker except the work itself. Past teams have shipped CRMs, applicant tracking, event management, and survey tools.

What is The Polish+

40 human tokens, included, for the 30 days after you fly home. Our team uses them to take your builds from working to production quality, fix the edge cases, and, if there is room, build the next thing. It is how we make sure you do not ship and stall.

Do I need to be technical+

No. The agents and your engineer handle the build. You bring the business context, the customer knowledge, and the decisions. They handle the integrations, prompts, deployment, and infrastructure.

Why is this so much cheaper than hiring a dev shop+

Because AI does most of the labor and you watch it happen. A dev shop charges $20,000 to $50,000 to build one of these apps over months. You build two or three in days, and you leave able to do it again without us. The software you walk out with is worth multiples of the price.

Can I bring my team, and is there a max size+

Yes. The base covers one person; each additional person is $1,000 per day, everything included. The AIO Pad sleeps up to 6 across two units, and for larger teams we have access to more apartments in the same neighborhood.

What happens after the 40 tokens+

If you want to keep going, another 40 human tokens is $2,000. Use them as you need, run out, renew. We meter Claude tokens and human tokens on a shared dashboard so you always know what you have left.

What is the cancellation policy+

Full refund up to 30 days before your start date. Inside 30 days, the booking can be rescheduled to another date in the next 6 months at no charge.

Why Saigon+

Saigon is where the AI Officer Institute team and engineering capacity live, and where we host the AIO Pad. It is a short flight from most Asia-Pacific hubs, the food and hospitality are world class, and the team can give you their full attention for the week.
